Do colleges take into consideration where you went to high school?

Will colleges look to see how challenging and more prestigious your high school is compared to other lower level high schools, or will they only look at how you did and not where you went????? Thanks
 
Not really, they will mostly look at extracurricular activities, GPA, and college entrance scores. They look more at who you are
 
They are more concerned with your SAT/ACT scores, your transcripts, and your extra-curricular activities than where you attended high school.
