Do colleges look at sports?

I really want to be in a sport, but I'm not. I'm not very good in the sports I tried out for Basketball, volleyball. I'm in IB, and hold officer positions in clubs. I was wondering, do colleges look at sports?

They just look to see that you are involved. Colleges know that not everyone is athletically inclined, so as long as you are involved in clubs (which you are), you should be fine. The primary concern with colleges is grades, anyway. It depends on the college, but I would say it's perfectly fine if you haven't participated in sports.

They definitely do. Sports show teamwork, preserverance and other good qualities admissions look for in prospective students. Also, if your talented at a specific sport, getting recruited is usually the secret in getting into a top college.
