Yes, it did prove it is a scam, but we need to follow through with it.... If not we will be admitting we were beliving the false data. A lot of people stand to loose a lot of money that they invested, we just need to rid it out and pay the new taxes.
No. Actually several reviews have shown that climategate was nothing. In fact, Phil Jones is still Director of the CRU at the U of East Anglia -- it was proved he did nothing wrong. All climategate was, was the inability of non-scientists to follow the complex threads between scientists.
There is now not one single published climate scientist who does not believe man is causing the environment to warm. There is no dispute, and no research that challenges that. To say there is some conspiracy implies that every climate researcher, every science journal, every university, and every scientific organization is on-board. Basically, every educated person in the world now understands that climate change is real. (Although there is some debate as to the rate of change and lots of debate as to what to do about it.)

That they did so was proven beyond a doubt. That the investigation continues with GISS NASA and NOAA is interesting just as some of the info surround Dr. Mann.
