I have a jeep and a small rock chipped my windsheild. About a week later I accidentally hit my window with my baseball gear pretty hard and the window cracked alot, it was very hot out. When I took it into the shop to get the window replaced the guy who replaced it said that windows typically break in the hot and not the cold, is this true? I was always told they break in the cold.
Do car Windsheilds crack easier in the hot or cold?
