Do Brand New Cars Come with Petrol?

This sounds like a daft question but I am getting a new car today and the price quoted is on the road. Does this mean that it comes with a full tank of petrol?

If you ask nicely they will usually fill the tank for you!

no it means it is taxed,unless you haggled for a tank of petrol i doubt you will get more than a fivers worth in it!

Usually it will near empty but if you ask most garages will fill it up to you .

Not very likely. You will probably find there is about half a tank if you are lucky. Spening all that dosh on a new car and worrying about a drop of petrol - blimey you must be on a very tight budget!

Depends on the dealer. Some will fill the tank (but you're paying for it in the price of the car, it won't be a gift!), others give you just enough to make it to the nearest garage.

Yes they often come with a full tank of petrol. Depends on your deal.

Sometimes, sometimes not. Ask when you pick it up. There will be enough to get you to the local filling station, but you dont always get a full tank of petrol. Cheap skates some dealers!
