For those who do not believe in God and have never prayed, this is merely a matter of skepticism. For individuals who believe in God and who do pray, which includes up to 90 percent of Americans, answered prayers are one of the most powerful personal proofs that God exists. To those who know their prayers have been answered, the doubts of skeptics are of little significance.
