Do Americans realise how incredibly stupid the present health debate makes them look?

What with "death panels", "socialism" and other weird outbursts of total disregard for the truth, and are they aware of the low rank their nation holds in life expectancy, stillbirths, etc.?
 
I guess they dont care if the poorer people die because they can't afford to visit a doctor or get medication.

Here we have private healthcare and the NHS (or whatever in each country in Europe) and it works OK for us.

Maybe they'd have cash for free healthcare if they stopped invading countries and having wars.

Just my opinion though. Doesn't really affect me, I'm not American and have NO interest in living there.
 
Yes I know how stupid it makes us look. But hey, that is nothing new. America has been the laughing stock of the international community for many years now.
As for Americans spouting things like 'socialism', 'death panels', etc...they only believe what they are fed. Believe it or not the media in this country is so censored it isn't funny. Americans very rarely get the whole unbiased truth on anything.

EDIT: 95% of British people have bad teeth....lol where did you get that number? The NHS has dental coverage! I guess you have never looked around at all the bad teeth in the US? It is gobsmacking how many people have rotten, missing, black teeth here. EWWWW! At least in the UK you can go to a dentist when you need/want to and it not cost you 2 weeks pay like here in America!!

EDIT: Yes they have free mental health care in the UK. My husband is sitting right here beside me...I guess he should know better than these know it all Americans who post on YA!
 
Let's talk about the million of British that have died because of these 'death panels". Yeah....news goes both ways across the Atlantic.
 
Perhaps you shouldn't judge all Americans by the outbursts of a few. Just because they are quoted in a newspaper, or briefly shown on television, doesn't make them the spokespeople of all Americans.
With our political system, the truth is often disregarded. The only facts that get mentioned are the facts that prove a particular groups moral and political beliefs. The smart Americans know that Republicans only state Republican truths and warp everything else, and the same goes with Democrats. All politicians lie to further their cause, and the Americans who blindly believe their own party do nothing to improve this once-great country.
 
You don't like it, find something better to do than paying attention to it. Get that AM headphone out of your ear and go learn to spell. Do you have any idea how incredibly stupid people look that want to make arguments and can't even spell the words in the question properly?
