Do all wireless phone companies keep copies of text message you've sent, or

just Cricket Wireless? Just curious if all wireless companies have copies of every text sent to and from their phones saved on a computer somewhere like Cricket. Asking because my boss recently got into lots of trouble with his girlfriend when one of her friends (who works at a cricket store here) got into his txt's and showed his girlfriend messages he had been sending.

Seems like he should have reported her, at least to Cricket. I have a hard time believing that that's allowed.

All cell phone companies keep a detailed record of every user's incoming and outgoing text messages. They are stored in a high security data system for at minimum 25 years.

Yes they do store the text and media. However it cannot be accessed without a police claim. What the girl did was against the law and she could be tried against for snooping through high security information. She should just mind her own business
