Do all girls bleed when it's their first time having sex?

My friend and I were talking today and we came across the subject and she told me that all girls bleed the first time they have sex. I thought that it was only if the girls hymen was still intact. And then i remember hearing that not all girls bleed.Which one is true??
 
Yes the general "first time bleeding" is due to the breaking of the hymen.

Some girls don't bleed when thier hymen is broken (or so little it is not noticable) also many women would bleed form a tear that is not related to thier hymen.

Presence of the hymen is the only deciding factor. Some girls are born without one. Some girls break theirs even before having sex, eg. exercise, riding a bike etc. So not all girls bleed from sex alone. but if their hymen was intact (which is most of them) and then is broken, they have a chance of bleeding depending on how intact the hymen was.
