do all cars have a cold air intake?

i would like to put one in my 2001 honda accord will it be worth it and bring up the performance a bit?

If you mean an air scoop on the hood then no, it can be a bad idea. The car is designed to get the needed airflow past the radiator and a scoop can affect that.

An air scoop does nothing at low speed , and only improves performance if it is connected as the engine air intake (old carb) because it can force more air into the cylinder .

A cooler running engine is always a better engine so in my point of view it will be worth it and may extend the life of your engine.

it will cool down the engine but since you can't go much faster on the road anyway- why get it?
