do all car stereos run on 12 volts, 12v?

i have an oldsmobile 1978 regency and i'm considereing purchasing a Sony CDX-GT620UESRP i've already measured it and it will fit in the hole but i wanted to make sure it will have enough power and wont blow any fuses or anything

simple answer with 1 word, YES.
Buy a different stereo, anything from sony for car audio should be avoided at all costs, way to far below sub par. Absolutely lousy sound quality

Being as 12 volt systems are all that comes on a modern automobile, the answer is yes. Your system should have an inline fuse in the hot wire , if not for a couple bucks you can buy one.
