collegeboard.com website? I'm trying to figure out this whole fee waivers thing. collegeboard.com has this fee waiver form and it states:
Students who have taken advantage of the College Board's SAT® Program fee-waiver service—which covers the basic test fees for the SAT® and SAT Subject Tests™—may also be eligible for up to four application fee waivers for colleges.
I have taken the SAT tests with a fee waiver so I am eligible. I also heard that when you apply to UC's, you are really applying to all schools at the same time with one application. The universityofcalifornia.edu website states the following about fee waivers:
Fee Waivers
UC will waive application fees for up to four campuses for qualified students who otherwise would be unable to apply for admission.
It also provides three options for fee waivers, and one of them is:
High school students: Use the College Board fee waiver form, available from your high school counselor. Submit it with your application.
Now my question is if I apply for 4 fee waivers from the collegeboard website, am I still eligible for 4 fee waivers for UC schools? I ask this because I was planning on applying to a few schools on the east coast and applying to some UC's as safeties. I am aware you need to have less than a specific family income to qualify for a waiver, which I do have. (Family of 5 with an income under $30K)
