i didnt watch the match yesterday, but djokovic is not that bad, he was a real pain before, but so far this year, he has matured quite alot, and he has developed mentally and physically.
i applaud djokovic for making the smart decision to hire a new fitness coach to stop retiring in matches.
It was a terrific match, especially for day 1 and I felt very sorry for Benneteau that he slipped so often and injured himself (the court didn't look to be in its usual 100% first day state). I thought Djokovic played and behaved extremely well, wry little smiles when things went against him and going to try to help Benneteau on the last point - that must have been very stressful but he seemed completely calm. Hope Benneteau isn't too badly injured.
Actually yes. I don't hold this player in very high regard in terms of how nice he is, but his gesture of concern, especially handing Benneteau his towel, was genuine, and touching. He's gone up a few notches in my book.
I wish he'd cut back the ball bouncing before he serves!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's worse than Tim.
