dizzyness and head numbness

Occasionally my head will get a numb feeling and I will feel dizzy. I also will feel a little "woozy". I've seen the doctor about this before and he couldn't help me. It feels like I've been standing on my head. It's worse when I've been looking down for awhile but it can occur at any time. Can stress cause this? It's been getting worse and sometimes I feel like I'm going to pass out. I have low blood pressure but the nurses say I have always had low blood pressure and this must be normal for me. I also get heart palpitations. Again, the doctor is aware of this and says he can't do anything for me. I would appreciate any help and info.

i'm not saying this is wrong with you but it could be allergies, the pressure in your sinuses can affect your ears which affects your balance. then because of that feeling you get anxious and make things seem alot worse.

i just say that because that's exactly what's going on with me this year, been having this get progressively worse for about three years, with this fall/winter/spring being the worst.

Thanks for the info on allergies. I do have allergies and asthma. I have had sinus infections in the past. Definitely something to look into. Thanks again

Hello Parula, I think Pumpkin my have something there. I have terrible terrible allergies environmental & possibly other things or sometimes I feel everything. I have been living with this awful full head, dizziness, headaches, sore ears and many more symptoms but it has been on going and it exhaust's me. I found a ton of relief in using a nasal rinse neilmed packages added to a plastic squeeze bottle you squirt up one nostril at a time (the same sort of thing as a netti pot) but this squeeze bottle with warm water and solution really gives a good flush out. I just hang my head over the bathroom sink and use 3 bottles of solution in the morning and it is so releiving, I am so glad I found it. An at home recipe for this solution is 1 tsp salt; 1 tsp baking soda in a pint of warm water. DO NOT use plain water it will burn like awful! Sometimes I will use it at night also to clear out any pollens from the day. It helps me maybe give it a try for a week and see if it helps. Good luck.

The thing is the head numbness and the dizzyness are the only symptoms. I don't feel sick at all. But thanks for your reply. I hope its something that simple.
