Distinguish between a business function and a business process. Describe how a business process cut across functional lines in an organization. Why do managers organize their teams in terms of business processes instead of functional departments? What benefits do you see from this new method of organization?

Business process is how business performed to achieve the goals it had set, what activities were involved in the process






The managers organize the their teams in terms of Business process instead of functional departmen t, because it helps the managers to look at their organization from the customer's perspective of satisfied.
