Hello all, I am 27 years old and have no tickets and no accidents. I live in NJ Saturday evening, a 18 year old girl failed to yield onto a major highway, I swerved to avoid hitting her, than sped back up to make sure I didnt miss my exit (which is why i was in the lane in the first place). The police officer spoke to me FIRST. I called the police also. No one was injured its very minor. I get the police report which is one page.. it lists HER as driver number one, which i dont understand. Also he completely left out that SHE DIDNT YIELD!!! I dont know what she said to him but he is believing her and I am nvery upset. She hasnt contacted my insurance or anything. He is making it sound like I cut her off or something. Do i have the right to dispute the police report? please advise.Thank you.
