Disney's Rapunzel

Does anyone else know when the Disney version of Rapunzel is being released?

I always loved the old Disney Fairytales such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and The Little Mermaid when I was a kid and could never understand why they had never done a version of Rapunzel

It says released in summer 2009 on comingsoon.net. Called 'Rapunzel Unbraided' apparently. Will it be in the new style of animation or the old classic style as i've also read that they are returning to that style to make a verson of 'The Frog Prince'

I heard Reese Witherspoon was doing the voice of Rapunzel. I hope it traditional Disney movie, with songs and talking animals. Im also glad they are rerturning to the Fairytale Genre, the Frog Prince sounRAB good. Maybe they will also do Hansel and Gretl or Rumplestilskin?

Whatever style its done with i'm not holding out much hope it'll be any good. Disney lost the plot years ago and now seem unable to produce a decent film.

That's why they have to buy up content from others, such as Studio Ghibli and Pixar (though now Pixar is owned by Disney i have to wonder what the future holRAB for them).

It's going to be in CGI, but they want it too look and feel like a traditional hand-drawn Disney Classic.
