Disney's Beauty & The Beast: New DVD AND possible 3D screening.

So excited for this to be released, Joint best Disney film with Lion King for me.

I can't believe I never bought it the last time it was out, it's been a long wait!

So many memories just from the opening scene of that trailer, the one from the forest, with the waterfall and view of the castle! It used to be in trailers for disney films when they would say "from the makers of Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid etc" for new films/videos and obviously from the the film itself.

So exciting!
 
Bollocks, I was at Disneyworld the other day and they had it, but was put off because of the worry it may not work. Rats :(

Ah well, roll on November 1st.
 
Am super excited for this to be released, it is my favourite Disney film of all time. May have to watch my old video version again. I was soooo jealous of Belle's ball dress!
 
I love 'Be our guest', but I do love the film version of 'beauty and the beast' during the ballroom dance sequence. I think it's sung nice and has lovely instrumental part bits :D

I really need this release! I have it on Video but I want the DVD :D
 
I remember when I was at disneyland a few years back and was scared to buy any DVD/VHS just incase! lol.

If it is in 3D at the cinema at least it'll hide my tears, I bawl like an infant at Baeuty and The Beast, an ex got me a muscial box as a pressie from the Disney Store and I can never wind it up as it brings on the tears!
 
Just read that in February, Disney where planning to do a 2-week only screenings over the UK & US of Disney's Beauty & The Beast in 3D.

However, this has been put back until early 2011 as it will conincide with the movie's 20th anniversery. I for one will go and see it as i love the film so much. It goes beyond a disney movie to me, it's just a classic film. I think Belle and the rest of the characters are brilliant, and probably the last really good thing to come out of disney (although Pocahontas and Hunchback of Notre Dame followed).

This year they are also planning a re-release of the movie in a 2 disc special edition (like they did in 2008 with 'sleeping beauty' and 2009 with 'snow white').

I will deffinatly be getting it :)
 
I love this film and can't wait to get it on DVD.

My old video of it doesn't work anymore so I haven't watched it in ages:(

OMG (okay I got a bit 'keen' there) but did anyone get the chance to see the Disney 'B&TB' broadway in London when it was on? (I think it ended around 10 years ago now). But I saw it twice, I was only young though, I think I was about 8/9. But I absoloutly adored it so much, it was the best musical (that and 'the lion king' musical were great).

I remember my mum telling me that when the beast was transforming at the end she looked at me and apparently I was totally transfixed :D Those were the days! I loved that musical!
 
I had the orginal video (1992 was it released)? that broke in like..1999 (guess). Then they re-released it with the extra 'human again' scene and touched up effects, at the time i only had a VHS player so brought the video-which i still have. But I will deffinatly be getting this double disc.

It's a classic. The stained glass window at the very end is lovely, i love this classic Disney stuff.
 
I watched the 'alice in wonderland' (tim burton) DVD yesterday and before-hand there was a long trailer advertising the new release of 'B&TB'. It looks so good and really nice quality :)
 
I've never seen Beauty and the Beast (a crime I know), but it looks dazzling!

In fact I've hardly seen any Disney classics. But I'd love to after playing the Kingdom Hearts games (not sure if you're familiar with them).

I think I'm going to start collecting them on Blu-Ray, so far there's been Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Pinocchio and Dumbo is out soon I believe. :D
 
Well the DVD is still listed as 1st Nov on Amazon and i'm hoping it stays that way as i'm really looking forward to it. I'd hate for it to be pushed back :(
