these are things i can talk about
how white aladdins appearance is-modeled after tom cruise to make him more likable. less arabian looking.
how disney portrayed jafar as accented very ethnic looking villain=bad=arab
original aladdin was in a chinese city
americanized names- Badroulbadour- Jasmine
badroulbadour- annoying and arrogant severely spoiled-in order to make jasmine more likable as a character they changed the story from the text and made her independent cunning and intelligent and strong
"the lines where they cut off your ear if they don't like your face, it's barbaric but hey its home!" were in the original disney version but it was found offensive and changed in 1993. it was changed to "where it's flat an immense and the heat is intense, it's barbaric but hey it's home!"
