disgusting taste in mouth with drainage from sinuses

So I've had this for about 2-3 weeks now. I've had tons of sinuses infections in the past...so at first I thought maybe I was getting another one....but this taste is nothing like the drainage from a normal sinus infection. It seriously tastes like there is something rotting in my sinuses or head or something..it has made me gag a few times.

I've had a few more headaches than usual, but they haven't been terrible. I also have noticed a "weird" feeling in my head lately though. It's hard to even explain. It feels like whenever I had been on antidepressants in the past and forgot to take it one day. It's so hard to explain...it just feels weird.

Anyway, any idea what could be causing this???

Irrigate sinuses with salt/baking soda solution to clean out junk. Salt is healing and baking soda deoderizes and cleans.

I make my own solution:

1 cup boiled water
1/2 teaspoon plain salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Dissolve salt and soda in the hot water. Stir well.
After dissolved, strain thru clean paper coffee filter into clean measuring cup.
Fill clean nasal spray bottles or similar.
Allow to COOL completely.

To use, lie on back and hang head off bed. Put a few spuirts of solution in each nostril. Turn head slowly side to side so solution gets into all the cracks and crevices of the sinuses. When getting up say kkkkkkkkk to keep solution from running down throat. Blow nose gently as needed.

Do this morning and night for a while and see if it clears your problem.

I am not a medical professional. The above is what my ear, nose, throat doctor recommended for me.
