Disfunctional Genetics

So, when I lay(sp?) here with a slight fever, spots where I really don't want them and for having it the second time in my life. I started thinking, that for some reason I get a disease that you can't get twice(statistically is astronomical). Yes I know, so is the fact that 2sharks attacked a human at the exact same time..So shit happens right? Well then I found out that my aunt and my father also has had it twice, so it's genetics? So, my body sucks at making antibodies. That's not either the only sucky thing I got in genetics.

I do also, get migraines. My Aunt is this big migraine "Queen" she can't go to movies because the popcorn smell gives her a migraine, she can't eat spicy food she get's a migraine etc.. She can't really do anything fun. My dad has also suffered from migraines, and their mom etc.. So that's genetics to. I do think it migraines that makes me very aware of pressure diffrences, so I feel quesy/weird in airplanes, I feel when thunder is coming..etc.. Migraine also makes me "allergic" to some stuff because they cause me migraines. I have to eat pretty regurarly, or else I get a migraine. I have to drink alot of water, if not=migraine. I'm very sensitive for the sun so when it's out I have to wear sunglasses otherwise I don't see shit and I can get a migraine..

I have low blood pressure, so if I don't eat enough I will faint. If I get up to fast I almost faint, sometimes when I've smoked I can faint etc.. My migraine medicine(that I eat everyday) makes my blood pressure even lower so *yay*

I had other stuff to but I've seem to forgot it.

Ah! that, because of my medicine I forget really really easy, like not "oh I forgot to take out the thrash" more like "what the fuck where we talking about, and what is this thing called(

I will reply nonetheless

I don't think there really is anything I can do for you but pray.

Lots of hugs and licorice from Holland ^^

Migraines suck ass. Can you take anything for them? I took Imitrex before I became pregnant, and it took care of it within half an hour. Interesting thing about your aunt though, I've found spicy food to really help get rid of one, or at least a lot of one, since capsacin or however it's spelled opens up blood vessels in my head. Part of migraine pain is swollen blood vessels in the head.

You might want to get a scan of your nasal cavities done too, my mom had polyps in her nasal cavities and that's what caused a majority of hers. She had them removed and her migraines come back once in a blue moon.

You know what's funny? Since I became pregnant, I've had barely any migraines. I don't recommend it as a cure though.

I take everyday 2pills ,for some chemical balance in my brain. Then I take some others that I have to take before I have a migraine, but I never see the aura so, I rarely use them. I have some others that I take when I have migraine... :happysad:

I love spicyfood too and I believe it helps, Cayenne pepper is said to help/prevent migraines..

Nasal cavities..interesting I should do that. I have this weird thing also that I get panicked if I can't breathe properly a scarf that is to tight/steam shower(to hot)/etc..but it's at it's worst when I have a migraine/getting one..

Aaah yes, the pregnant thing. My sisters friend had that same, she actually got rid of them..So my sister is going "sooo..when is the baby coming?" oi oi oi with the sisters..

What my mom had done to remove the polyps was painful, and I guess for a couple weeks she couldn't taste a damn thing, but she said it was worth it.

You have aura migraines? Eeeeuurgh. I had one of those once, when I was really little. The ones I have now don't have an aura, but they will last three days for me.

Taco Bell burritos slathered in their hot sauce is my source for migraine relief when I don't have my meds nearby. Or buffalo wings. Or Lousiana Gold hot sauce. Or Tabasco sauce. My nose runs like a sumbitch for a while but the migraine is gone in minutes.

Ah, yes. My, uh, 'medicine' does that too. It also makes me hungry, and makes me giggle endlessly at things that aren't nearly as funny as all that.
