Discuss some of the laws from Hammurabi’s code.?

Discuss some of the laws from Hammurabi’s code. Are the laws fair and just compared to those of contemporary society? Are the consequences fair and just for all people?
 
Is this a homework assignment? Why not decide which of the laws from Hammurabi's code you wish to discuss. To talk about each of them -- and compare them to contemporary laws, then adjudge wheteher the consequences are fair and just for all people, is a HUGE topic - one that can fill a whole semester a university.
