Put this entire debate in it's proper premise where it belongs. It is good against evil. The debate about which side is good and evil is a misnomer and can be easily resolved by their overall effort.
We went into protect our interests and the interests of the countries that were threatened by a leader or organization that committed acts of terror against the United States in separate episodes long before we were attacked on September 11, 2001.
Terrorism is posing as your friend while wanting to destroy you. On September 11, 2001 they posed as innocent flyer's but hijacked Americans planes and used them as weapons to both destroy innocent lives and property. In their own countries they create terror cells to impose rule by threat and terror over their own people as well as their neighboring countries.
If the United States did nothing at all in response to what the terrorists did to us on September 11, 2001, then what do other countries do when they too are attacked in like manner? Go to bed the terrorist and allow them to rule over us and the U.S. cower in fear and trembling at them? Or do we say. You attack us continually. Now we'll attack with just cause.
It's strange how that they continue to blow themselves up in Iraq and other countries as well. Terrorists have no future for their own lives or for wanting children to live in a country free from war. They have no desire to want to see their countrymen become good doctors or businessman or practice politics in peace. In terrorist countries there is no peace. Only war is in their hearts. Hate fuels them.
But not the United States. We are not governed by hate. We are governed by justice and tolerance and to see peace rule properly no matter if in our own country or abroad.
As long as we will be constantly attacked we must fight back. God and the devil have not called a truce as far as I know. Evil will attack good and the good will respond, not out of fear, but out of justice.
Terrorists if they were brave they would be like the Germans or Japan and dress as soldiers and we could see the enemy and they could face us. Then they would surrender and stop fighting for good. The Germans and Japanese have done that with the United States and now we are their partners for many years. Terrorists will never stop fighting even when the war was won so that their own people could live in peace and start new. I recall an incident where a terrorists blew himself up at a polling site during the election. That did not scare off the voters. They just cleaned up the human waste and stood and line and continued to vote. What a wasted life those terrorists live.
Everyone has a right to defend themselves against an act that will harm them. We are not evil for responding to evil when it is done to us. Never. We are just.
To deter acts in the future I would challenge the terrorists to see what a better world is for them and their own country men. And how would they choose to run their own government? With the will of the people or the rule of an elite group of people who think they know better than their own people? Do they want to see their own country advance in education, business, politics, environment, health etc? Or do they always want their country to be ruled by fear?
I would challenge the terrorists to see a better future for themselves with them in the picture and a family and home life and a future. And not think that committing terror is God's will to kill and destroy life. They must see an opposite picture for themselves and not the old one that people of hate keep putting up there to see. And for our side in America or wherever. I would want the news media to show the accomplishments and the good reports of those in those country who do support our presence. The news media never shows us the positive effect of our results. We need a news media that shows us the truth. Not a news media that keeps the supposedly freest people on earth, away from the truth.
Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. Even if you or most do not agree I am glad I could say this any way. America is not an evil country. Nor are the other countries and their people where we are in militarily. What is evil is the terrorists that will not allow their own people to live in peace.
