Discuss: It doesn't matter whether homosexuality is genetic or chosen; the fact...

I think we're all born bisexual and society changes us and molds us into either gay, straight, or bi. In my opinion the only way to have true sexual freedom and the freedom to love whomever you want is to be bi. That said I'm actually straight. weird huh? I don't think I'd ever sleep with another guy, but I don't want some book telling me that I can't or some intolerant jerk for that matter. I'm not a Christian, atheist actually, but I'm pretty sure that Christians believe anyone can still accept Jesus as their savior and ultimately it's up to God to judge anyway.

That's only "clear" if you believe the text you are quoting from, which would also mean believing in talking snakes and donkeys, every animal in the world on a boat during a flood that covered the entire Earth, murderous flying angel people, a person being turned into salt in an instant, magic hair that makes you strong when it grows out, the dead being brought back to life, water changed into wine, and on and on and on.

So... it's not clear to me, sorry. It's not a "sin" to be gay. It is, however, ignorant and cruel of you to suggest it.

Ah, Leviticus... 18:22 clearly states that a woman should not lie with a man as she would with a woman, so I say all lesbians should follow that teaching! I encourage it!

If you are going to "do unto homosexuals what they deserve" and Jesus' teaching is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" what exactly is it you're wanting to do to the homosexuals that you so desperately wish they would do to you?

The level 1 trolls with minus number of points earned are getting nastier and nastier, aren't they.

Christianity is a homophobic religion, but that's not what is significant about it. What really matters is that this most divided and divisive of religions is a hoax, even as its delusional adherents and followers go into complete denial about this FACT.

@ Jason T - Double LMAO!!

Just who do you think you are?

You'd better be careful. It sounds like you're trying to put yourself in the place of God. Now that really is a sin!

Who are we to judge someone else's servant? For how do we know or discern what was placed over a person in the spiritual and inside that person what the essence of the being looked like until the Resurrection and The Life; when The Perfect comes in the completion of the new creation, the imperfect disappears. A good tree bears what is goodness, mercy, grace, self-control, patience, faith, meekness; and all that have these qualities growing to an increase keep the law of the Prophecy to Love The Lord God.

I was a practising lesbian before i got born-again. I have battled my natural tendencies for five years. I no longer practise it but i am not at all in the slightest bit attracted to the opposite sex. I believe in the bible and believe it should be followed totally. Tell me Morganie what exactly is it that i deserve? Do you hate the sin or the sinner?

you can use the bible to justify slavery too

keeping other people as "property" may have been common back in the day, but that doesnt mean it was RIGHT

in some places, husbands splash acid in their wife's face as a punishment.
just because its common in their culture, does that make it RIGHT?

culture evolves. accept it
