what are advantages of France that made other countries want to ally with France?
well, the location is an advantage. they can trade with other countries. they have all kind of transportation like battleships, cruisers, destroyers, submarines. look like they ready to go to war
but what else could made other want to ally with france

Because they're "Friends", get it?
France, Friends, France, Friends, France, Friends, Friends, Friends.

Hey, you asked for discussion.

France had a very large army; at worst they were 2nd-best after Germany. (Russia's might have been larger, but they had a very low level of technology and leadership. Russia wasn't anything like a great power till wwii.)

Looking to discuss France in the Great War?

The Allies were not necessarily engaged in this war because of France's advantages, they went to the assistance of France because they had made agreements before the war began, and they honoured those agreements. What made the others (like Great Britain) come to the France's assistance was the desire to prevent Europe being dominated by one single power (such as Prussia/Germany).

I hope this helps, I enjoyed our discussion.

Try reading 'Marshal Ferdinand Foch: His Life and Theory of Modern War,' by A. Hilliard Atteridge (1919). Contrary to popular belief, France had some first-rate leaders during World War I, and Foch was one of them.
