I work in sales and have been since July of 08. I took about 7 months off last year after giving birth to twins and returnes to work in late july of 09. I work 30-35 hours a week which is part time. However, I am the only employee that isn't on payroll as partime. I am on as seasonal. I've asked my manager 4 times to switch me and she says, "oh, yeah. I need to do that." She never does. There is another girl that startes working there in december and she had our paper work and the same time and switched her to part time but not me. THis girl works less hours than I do. I can't get any health insurance or as good a discount being seasonal. Another girl, M, ONLY works season (christmas, valentine's,etc) but she has part time status. I am the ONLY minority. I am also the only that no one shares with. Everyone shares sales, credit apps, service plans, to help eveyrone's standards. NO ONE helps me. I don't have problems wth anyone at work. I sold 39k more last year that i was goaled and my standards are the best. AM i wrong or is this pure discrimination?
