Discovery, Treasure, Oasis HD should be included with HDTV package

Wow didn't know this and am getting installed towmorrow. I am pretty safe though with the theme packs I chose. I will admit that brochure is REALLY misleading.

anyways here is why I am safe no matter what they do:

Discovery HD - am getting News and Learning 1
TSN HD and Sportsnet HD - am getting Sports 1
A&E HD and soon to be Showcase HD - am getting Variety 1
Soon to be National Geographic HD - am getting News and Learning 2
WGN HD - am getting Premium Movies and Sports 1 so am good

HDnet Rush, Equater, Treasure, and Oasis better not be extra $$ that should be included in the HD pack as they are HD only channels.

Also am getting Premium Movies which gets me MC1 and MC2 in HD

I am lucky the way my choice theme packs fell in place.

The only HD channels I will be missing are Raptors TV HD (don't care about that or anything in Sports 2). Or the Premium Sports NFL Sun. Ticket type HD channels.

So I am good. But they better not do an "adventure pack" like SaskTel is doing with RUSH, EQUATER, TREAURE, OASIS, and HDnet. That will get me ticked...

But agreed Bell has the worst website and brochures. They are SO out of date.
 
Anyone know why A&E HD is a subscripton channel now? I have HD and I noticed today that this is the only HD channel in red.
 
Noticed the same thing this afternoon, was surfing thru the HD channels at noon, worked fine. It was red when I surfed thru at 3 PM.
 
Don't know what this is about, but I get all the HD channels except for Raptors HD (don't want Sports 2).

I also got MC1~HD and MC2~HD, so everything besides raptors. the lady on the phone said you get all the channels regardless of theme packs.

She told me this theme pack thing is a mis-conception being spread around. The only HD channels that require theme packs or seperate things are:

TSN HD
Sportsnet HD

Need Sports 1

Raptors HD

Need Sports 2

TMNHD&MPIXHD / MC1HD&MC2HD require premium movies
 
I know this is an old old old thread, but I just got Bell-TV yesterday (we moved to Oakville) and I don't get Oasis, Treasure, etc.

I haven't called yet --- too much to do and way too much stuff to unpack (tho' I did find time to get Bell-internet and TV installed and running) -- but does anyone have an update?

The HD Essentials lists them as part of a Theme called HD World.
