yeah im redoing my 2.0L 420A neon engine and im fixing to drop the engine and tranny together out the bottom of my 00 dodge neon. my question is, what is the best way of disconnecting them when there out of the car? It is a auto so i know removing the bellhouseing bolts and torque converter bolts and all that but can it be done just on the ground or would it be easier to have it held up with the hoist? im trying to find the best way to do this so when i have a new clean engine its not rolling around on the ground trying to get it bolted back up to the tranny.

if you could find a transmission jack then that would be your best bet you could drop the motor into the neon then jack up your tranny with ease.
