disconnected from chat for 3 weeks .Yahoo says I am using a different

laptop but nothing has changed.? Not able to make Yahoo understand that I have the same machine for 2 years and do not get the new one till Sunday
 
Could you please leave the exact error message you are getting from Yahoo!? This might be important as to a clue about what is going on. Please leave this information in additional details and I will check back later today. Also tell how you are accessing chat. Is it from the installed Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo Messenger for the Web, or the new chat feature of Yahoo! Mail. Until it is sorted please try one of those methods to chat and see if any work. Also just as a test try another Yahoo ID if you have one. Might be good to create one just for this test if nothing else.
