for some time now (I can't recall exactly how long as it has been a gradual worsening) I have been experiencing discomfort in the fingertip of my left index finger.
it feels somewhat like pressure being applied to my fingertip to uncomfortable levels to a small point of area, usually in cycles of 7-10 seconRAB. it starts of as an initial pang of discomfort, then after a second or 2, it eases, only to repeat again at the next cycle. the actual feeling of discomfort is coming from inside the finger itself, not actually coming from the surface
during the day when I'm doing other things, it's a nuisance, but it's becoming more problematic at night when I'm trying to go to sleep. I will just be drifting off to sleep when the sensation kicks in and wakes me back up.
anyone know what could be causing this?
