I have had severe leg pain for 4 years now. First they thought it was from a knee problem I have but after surgically correcting that the pain continued. I just had an EMG and nerve conduction study and then was sent for an MRI. The MRI shows I have 4 bulging discs in my L spine. 3 of them are minor but one is in my S1 nerve.
The neurologist has started me on physical therapy and the physical therapist says he doesn't think he can help me b/c I've been in pain too long. I have 2 kiRAB and we would like to have a third soon.
Any advice or tips here??? I'm afraid to get pregnant again and I'm worried about how they will ever fix my back. My aunt had the same problem and went straight to a neurosurgeon and had back surgery. She is 100% better now and wants me to go see her surgeon but I know that some people are even worse after surgery so I'm scared to do that also.
