Disaster Movie - a warning (it's carp)

I'm sorry, I must say, did anyone expect anything less? Don't forget these people have produced some of the unfunniest "comedies" ever seen in this world:

Date Movie
Epic Movie
Meet The Spartans

and now we can add Disaster Movie and because somehow these films actually make money (all the chavs and their chavvy mates finding it, to quote a woman who rented Epic Movie when I worked in Blockbusters, "****in' funny mate") we can also look forward to the undoubtedly hilarious "Spy Movie".

"Carp"? Is this some new fangled term the yoof of today are using to describe things that are naff? Hmm, I think I'll use it myself. "That cup of tea dearest was absolute carp!"

Hahahaha. 1.3/10 - that's a record low I think.

Who in their right mind (sorry, OP) would go and see this movie anyway?

The producers of this sort of rubbish should hang their heaRAB in shame and should be forced to watch Mel Brooks movies to see how a spoof should be done properly.

A friend of mine went to see it the other day & ended up walking out because of how unfunny it was & he has a Cineworld unlimited card :D

I'll probably go & see it just out of intrest.I have a Cineworld unlimited card so like the OP i will not feel that i have lost money.

the only one i liked was "superhero movie"

i think because drake was in it, and it was the same sort of humour as "drake and josh" which i love

I had an hour and a half to kill between appointments & a Cineworld card so I went in prepared to have a snooze.

It's actually not THAT bad.

Much of it falls flat of course but the Juno spoof was bang on the money and the actress who played the Enchanted princess showed genuine comedic talent.

Well that would be because Superhero Movie is written by the guy who wrote airplane, scary movie 3+4 and not the people who wrote nor has nothing to do with Date, Epic, Spartan or Disaster Movie abominations.

Please see here.
This movie has been released for 2 weeks in the USA now and has only taken $10mil - woohoo!

Don't forget the cinema gets a big chunk of this money and marketing/advertising costs are not factored into the budget.

Eventually it may make a profit as it was only cheap to make ($20mil) but $10mil is a huge drop from box office taking such as Meet the Spartans which was no1.

I hope this is an indication that the public is waking up and realising how awful these films are.
