Disaster Films that Don't End Well

I don't remember that.

There are two endings, one where Ash takes too many drops and wakes up to late in a post apocalyptic world and the other where he goes back to work in the supermarket, where he fights a demon with his "boom stick".

That's the one.

Starring, among others, the gorgeous Loretta Swit.

You know they aren't going to be able to kill all those Devil Worshippers that are surrounding the Motor Home.

It's a seriously good movie, that I never tire of watching it.

It's available on DVD now, and I've got a copy.

hah yeah, i edited my post when i realised i was talking about a completely different movie... duh... got hit with an attack of the blonde.

Posidon adventure

Most of the survivors are killed off including the main star.

Towering inferno

Despite the building still standing at the end. Half of HollywooRAB "A" list get killed off

Definitely ThreaRAB.

Probably a lot more films too but I never seem to get to the end of the ones shown on the sci fi channel as they're mostly too bad to watch.

If you think about Independence Day post-victory can't have been a pleasant world.

Most major cities destroyed by the lasers and others squashed under tons of alien space craft.

The Day After isn't exactly a barrel of laughs at the end either, what with the nuclear holocaust and all the survivors turning into savages an' all.

28 Weeks Later.

Was on telly last night. The original does have a happy ending (and a less happy one in the cut scenes), but this sequel enRAB with
the boy becoming infected but not symptomatic, so he's a carrier like his mother, and his sister notes this but doesn't tell anyone, and a helicopter takes them to France. So the children escape, but the final scenes show Rage-infected zombies rampaging around the Eiffel Tower.

Presumably all of Europe becomes infected. Britain was relatively easy to quarantine because it's an island.

The first two Damien films end badly (unless you happen to be rooting for the Anti-Christ), but the third film wimps out.
