Disappointed Shippers #22: When you're dreaming with a broken heart the giving up is the hardest part.

Carrie/Aidan: I never particuarly liked Carrie but her terrible treatment of Aidan really pushed me into hatting her. Aidan was an awesome guy and he actually complimented the Carrie character very well. They were cute and sweet together. I will never understand the writers dragging them through hell in the third season and then doing it again in the fourth :nono:

Actually Clean Matt would have been back if there had been a S8. it's the only thing that comforts me with RL. That their story wasen't over. The break up was supposed to be a bad cliff hanger

S5 holRAB some of my favourite LP scenes and the angst was really good for the first 8 episodes but then they took it too far with having Lucas go through with the wedding to LinRABey and then delaying the inevitable LP reunion. The writers had to have their stupid "who will Lucas choose?" cliffhanger to get people to tune in to S6 but it was just ridiculous. The triangles with Lucas in the middle were over done.

I quite liked the fact that LP's pregnancy wasn't easy, 6x17 is one of my favourite LP episodes. Also Sawyer is the cutest thing but I definitely didn't need the white picket fence and 2.5 kiRAB ending for them. But I hear all the couples on OTH have to have a baby to be happy, Brooke even got a miracle pregnancy, or so I read. I don't keep up with the show anymore but I think an adoption or IVF SL would have been more interesting and realistic. But then this is OTH realism is never a priority

Oh definitely! Never getting over their what do you call it? Demise/death/take over/hijacking. :bawl:

Charlie and Angelo (Home and Away) too. :bawl: They should've soooooooo got married and had a family together!!

Paul and Izzy (Neigrabroadours) were an awesome couple and a sad loss too.

Also really upset, disappointed and mad about Tom and Lynette's recent split on Desperate Housewives. It's just wrong. :bawl:  :bawl:.

Having a GG marathon so :

Luke and Lorelai, I know they ended up together but they were appart for the entire last season and I'll never get over that :pout:

Rory and Logan, Logan proposing like that was so OOC and I can't believe they decided to break them up just like that

I've never seen Friday Night Lights, but I've heard of Tim & Lyla and they look cute.
It's just awful when couples with lots of buildup just get ignored like that.

^ agreed. i was sad when they broke up, but then the writers took it a step further and tried to diminish the meaning of their relationship. after season 3 they were just used to prop LP. really disappointing.

Thanks for that information :), I did not get that far with the show.
Those events sound so badly-written. I don't think it's possible to write off some of the main characters as if it was nothing and not have it majorly mess up the story in general. Not to mention, Conrad was a great character. I loved him as much as Nancy and her family.

Dan/Blair, they'll ruined them eventually or even ignore them completely :(

All of it so much. NE had enough chemistry and enough of an amazing story to pull it off, but the writers kept screwing them over for shocking effect during the whole S4 and then they fixed literally nothing with Naomi's cheesy speach and "I loved you since 12" nonsense.

Freddie/Effy, in my opinion, where the only couple that deserved a happy ending. This two went through so much, never cheated on each other, loved each other so strongly and they deserved to get at least a decent resolution. The kind of exit Freddie got was ridicullous and horrible and disrespectfull. I am glad that at least their relationship in general still wasn't ruined, because the last thing Effy told Freddie was ILY and it was obvious that he was the only one for her and she chose him in every single possible way over Cook and over anyone else, but then again, it does not take away the awfullness of psycho doctor SL.

YW Jenny and Jess

Brooke/Lucas will always be one of my biggest disappointments, not because they didn't end up together but because of how disrespected they were by the show itself. I guess it's impossible in OTH Land to fall in love more than once, but I just wish they had aknowledged that they were more than just a fling or some denial.

I liked the Jack/Jenn frienRABhip too. They could have been a good couple if he wasn't gay.

I know. That's why I think it should have been PJo and Dawson/Jenn.
