Disapointed with meal at restaurant - is there anything I can do?

I decided to treat my mum for a meal at a country inn as it boasted 2 rosettes for its food. We only wanted the main course (no starter or dessert) and also it was £16 each for the main course. When we got our course, although the food was delicious, it was tiny and looked more like a starter! I was disappointed, but moreso for my mum who agreed it was small. I didn't make a fuss in front of my mum, so paid the £32 for the 2 dishes
