Hope there isn't a thread on this already but I was just googling to find details of Clint's newly announced movie Gran Torino in which after categorically stating he wouldn't act again, he's now set to appear before the cameras again. The amusing thing is that as there's no news at all beyond it's a movie and it'll star Clint and it's called Gran Torino the silly rumour mill has got running and it's now being reported as being DH#6. A few papers who should know better are even running with the rumour, seemingly based entirely on someone claiming to have sold his Gran Torino car to Warner Bros. Anyhow, silly or not, it's one of the more entertaining rumours of late!
 
Perhaps Clint will have a Magnum built in to his Zimmerframe!

As he shuffles foward wearing his slippers and dressing gown, I can see him uttering Do you wanna empty my piss bag? . . .Well, do ya?
 
To be honest, with the recent Rocky and Rambo outings and now Indiana Jones (though admittedly I am curious about that one), nothing would surprise me anymore.

I know Clint is 16 years older than Stallone, and 12 years older than Harrison Ford, BUT... well, as I say nothing would surprise me. Hollywood seems to be cashing in on more sequels at the moment.

Still, it would be ridiculous - Clint is only a year younger than my grandfather, who yes is in pretty good shape for a 79 year old but hardly convincing!
 
How about Dirty Harry vs Rambo? Rambo goes on a vigilante spree in the big city and DH has to take him down while realising they're two sides of the same coin e.g two ageing actors who should know better! ;-)
 
I'd like to see them do another because according to the rumours he is meant to playing Callahan as a retired cop so with a decent script and Clint playing him as a person (i.e the original) and not an indestructable caricature as in the last two it could be quite good.

To be fair only a couple of the 4 sequels were anywhere above average.
