the DC of Donnie Darko is quite interesting. The opening scene's music is different and there are some extended/deleted scenes in it, aswell as pages of the book in it.
Personally, I don't hate it but I didn't see the point of it. It didn't do anything different, other than explaining the whole theory in the book more.
