Direct TV, you folks can lick my sweaty ball sack. Fuck you up the ass with your dishes, you greedy pieces of shit.

Get this. I've purchased the Sunday Ticket, to the tune of approx $300 (I do this every year), I also purchase their HD service (first time buying this as we recently got a decent HD TV) to the tune of an extra $10-$15/month. So, logic would dictate that I would get all of the Sunday Ticket games in HD, yes?

Fuck no

Those greedy cockbites want an additional $100 out of my hard earned cash to purchase their "Superfan" package... and then, and only then, will I be able to see the Sunday Ticket games in HD.

Is that some fucked up shit, or what. To make matter worse, I guess they teased everyone the last couple of weeks being able to see The Ticket games in HD, so I had no clue that an additional service was required until yesterday.

You know, all of this is explained if you actually read the Sunday Ticket site before clicking order. I know because my brother in law hates reading as well and went through this same issue a few months ago. Also, the HD and HD Extra packages have never applied to special packages, and they say as much on those pages as well.

:D

I would have ordered the Ticket and the HD programming regardless, and ya, I'm sure it's fully explained in micro-print somewhere. And honestly, I dont give a flying fuck if it's stated or not, I'd still be raising hell, as it really feels like they are trying to double charge me for shit.

I'm wondering now though, if I were to order a movie, if its gonna cost me extra to view in HD.

It just aint right, plain and simple..and there's no-one that could convince me otherwise.

Meh... how disappointing. I rarely ordered movies, prefer the pause feature on a DVD player.

But still...it's a bit fucked up to charge one for HD service twice, imo.

You're not being charged twice. The 'normal' HD packages (the $15 one and the ~$5 'extra' one) are for access to HD versions of normal, non-PPV channels. I don't know where you're getting the idea that these should grant you access to every HD service ever, but that's not the point and their site is pretty clear on what those packages give you.

PPV is kind of a ripoff anyway. $5 a movie is beat by even Blockbuster, and although the 1080p option is nice (nobody else offers 1080p broadcasts... they're basically BluRays), it kind of sucks if you have a nice TV because it's 1080p/60.

I get some many free sports stations in HD. Comcast even has Football on demand and if you subsribe you can watch them anytime with in an hour after the end of the games. though it's not true HD. I think its 1080i and not 1080p which I think dish is.

still.. it's all big business. why support them and watch those games. Go watch highschool games for free.
