dipping in egg

I'm planning on either frying or baking one pork chop. Will dredge in
flour, then coat with sesame seeds, pepper and smokey salt. Is an
egg really important? I know it's just one egg, but seems like such a
waste!

not sure if you can get around using the egg, but you can always freeze
what you don't use and thaw it out the next time you want one pork chop

Ha, ha. Yes probably.

I used the egg and threw out the remainder. The stuff just didn't
stick!!

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable freezing a solution in which raw pork
had been dipped, and then thawing it out and using it again. But
that's just me, I'm sure it's safe as can be.

Coating a pork chop with just plain ol' oil or olive oil will often
allow everything in the kitchen to stick to it.
