Dio

I just made mine its Levi's might-give-you-type-2-diabeties uber 1337 mmorpg energy drink. It's got mapel syrup, chocolate syrup, peanutbutter, and honey all mixed together and in a bottle. ^.^ I'm so going to make the most money.

Well I was listening to Live Evil just the other day.

I actually think Dio sings NIB much better than Ozzy ever did.

Yeah I got it like 10 pages ago that you want us to talk about music. You don't like Dio? Sweet, we heard that, let someone else give an opinion now.

I'll conclude with...Holy Diver is awesome.

Holy Diver was (and still is) an amazing album. Personally, I am a fan of anything that Dio has sung. That includes Rainbow, Elf, Black Sabbath, and his solo years.

My absolutely favorite song sung by him would have to be Heaven and Hell though. That song is nothing but epic tbh.

Does anyone else agree/think that Dio lost it after the first two albums? I was absolutely blown away by "Holy Diver", and just getting back to my feet when "The last in line" bitchslapped me back down, so I expected "Sacred heart" to be another piledriver and it, well, wasn't. I mean, don't get me wrong, their were some good tracks ("Just another day", "Rock and roll children", the title track), but it just was not the powerhouse its predecessors had been.
Then came "Dream evil", and it just got worse. I think the only track on that I enjoyed was "All the fools sailed away". I left Dio to their own devices for a while then, and recently picked up where I had left off. With the exception of the superb "Killing the dragon", I was REALLY disappointed that Dio had failed so badly to realise the enormous potential shown in tracks like "Don't talk to strangers", "Rainbow in the dark", "Egypt" and "I speed at night". I mean, "Angry machines" was just awful!
Anyone else feel this way, or am I alone? Or do I just not get it? I liked RJD in Rainbow, and Black Sabbath, so I know what he's capable of. What I want to know is, what went wrong?

Why even argue with somebody who doesn't even have any knowledge in Music. Nice try to be tough on the internet. Especially from canada wow. No need to argue with a thred nerd who has no life and spenRAB all day in threRAB. And I can tell by your stupid replies and posts.

How have I missed this thread?? Dio freaking rocks! Doesn't matter when, he still rocks. Although I like his newer stuff a little bit better. But it all still rocks either way. Dio Forever!

Exactly, I totally agree!!!Earlier on I put many banRAB that I own all of their albums on and almost put Black Sabbath.I remerabered that I did not own those disaster albums (T.E. and N.S.D.), so I couldn't put Black Sabbath up as one of those all album artists.

Dio did an incredible job on those Black Sabbath albums too...
...Mob Rules is probally my favorite of the 2 as a whole, but Heaven And Hell is also a great album that everybody seems to love and/or favor. If Dio did anything to Black Sabbath, it was to carry on the tradition of metal and everything he did to the band was great from start to finish.Need I say more...lol?
