Dilema

Ok, my boss cornered me one day at work and asked what I was doing like a month and a half from now and I told her I didn't think I was doing anything. So she asked me to babysit and I felt that I had to say yes even though her children are evil. Well, not a week later a friend of mine from the high school calls me up and asks me for a favor. A friend of hers from another school needs a prom date and she can't do it so she called and asked me to do it. This school's prom is known to be one of the best in the entire state to attend. Only problem is that they're on the same day. So what should I do? Go party and have a blast and come up with a reason to flake on my boss? Or do I stick to babysitting for them? I know I'd probobly have more fun at the prom, but I feel bad if I flake on my boss. Help. What should I do and if I do flake on my boss what should I tell her. I don't think she'd be too happy if she heard that I was going to a prom cuz it's really hard for her to find babysitters.
 
Yes, there's still a long time before the babysitting/prom, right?

You have time to either tell your boss to find somebody else, or find somebody else yourself.
