Currently I have two children, 3.5 and 15 months. I discovered that I was pregnant with each of them through the old fashioned home pregnancy test. You count the lines and if there are two of them (no matter how faint the second line may be) you know you are pregnant. Both of my pregnancies were planned, so I excitedly bought the tests ahead of time and got exactly what I wanted.
A few days ago, I realized that I was experiencing some symptoms that could possibly be caused by pregnancy. Since we are NOT trying to get pregnant I was not as prepared this time. I called my husband and asked him to pick up a test on the way home. He got one of the digital tests that says "yes" or "no". Thankfully, it said no. We aren't wanting to have 3 kids under 5. However, the days are passing and my period still hasn't come. I took the other test in the pack yesterday and again it said "no". I'm 4 days late now.
So, after my long story, my basic question is - How accurate are the digital tests?? Are they as sensitive as the old fashioned ones with the lines? I'm starting to get a little nervous....
