digital piano has built in MIDI so, will a preamp and audio interface reduce latency?

A yamaha DGX-630 with buitl in MIDI outputs noticeable latency through sonar le. the setting for latency is at 2ms, but there is still some audio discrepancy. A mobilePre USB device states that it has zero latency. Even if there is a built in MIDI will the MobilePre USB decrease or zero the latency?
