First let me start off by saying im a begginer when it comes to digital photography. I have an Olympus E-500. I've just recently bought a zuiko 18 to 180mm lens. And have been trying to take some nice upclose pictures of small objects, but my lens doesn't focus on objects that close and small even when I try and manually focus.
I looked online for macro lenses, but I can't afford any of them...YET!. And today I recently when into my local photography store to see if they have any macro lenses that would fit my onlympus....sadly they don't have ANYTHING!!! That would fit my Olympus....NOT EVEN A SIMPLE DUST COVER FOR THE BASE.
But before I walked out the owner said "if you really want to take macro photos that bad. You can simply turn your lens around and take photos that way." and I just simply said "ok" And walked to my car and started driving. after about 10 minutes of driving I started thinking to myself....why didn't I ask him to show me how to do this?
So my question to you YAHOO USERS is...
How is this possible?
How is it possible to hold my lens and base and manually focus the lens at the same time?
