Digital Ink and Paint

I have another question: What was the first non-Disney animated production to use digital ink and paint? I read in one of Jerry Beck's books that "We're Back: A Dinosaur Story" was the first, but I'm just curious...

Yeah, some of the 80s Jetsons episodes were done on computer, although most were painted on cels.

You can tell which ones were on computer by how horrible the animation is (technology wasn't as advanced back then)

Personally, I like traditional cel paint and inking compared to digital. Look back at the Powerpuff Girls when it was done non-digital at Hanna-Barbera. The colors are a lot softer and less sharp like they are in episodes that use digital ink and paint.

Personally I like both styles equally.
But the cel-animated episodes of PPG do look better than the newer ones.
Then again, in the movie, which used digital ink and paint, they had other advantages like combining CGI.
