S sparky_dy New member Oct 29, 2009 #2 An inverter only has one input. An EOR gate can't be forced to a known state from one input. (An AND gate can be forced to output a 0, by making one of the inputs 0, and an OR gate can be forced to output a 1 by making one of the inputs a 1.)
