DIFFERENT TIME PERIOD OF LEARNING DIFFERENT TYPES OF MARTIAL ARTS?

there is no quick and easy path, to learn martial arts, it depends on how good your instructor is, how you train and your own abilities.
it takes decades to understand a single style and a life time to master it

you should take a style that has a good instructor, interests you and that you enjoy,

It all depends on how fast you learn and how your school teaches.
You could earn a black belt in a few years. You will know nothing. But you will have a nice belt.
Any kind of martial arts takes years of training. Any school that is worth anything will not give a belt out in just a few years. Your age has nothing to do with it. There are people in my class that are 5 years old. There is a lady that just started she is 67. The one instructor is in his 70's. Martial arts is a continuous learning process.

It will vary from art to art and from school to school. Even rough estimates at each school don't take in to account your own level of dedication and practice. You could be well ahead of the curve, working out and practicing every day or you could be the sort that skips classes and puts a minimal amount of effort in to class the few times you show up.

Learn several martial arts can be quite time consuming. Follow Shihan J's advice and find a single art with a great instructor. Learning multiple arts taught at a mediocre level isn't as efficient as learning a single art taught at a very high level.

Good Luck.

To learn the basics it depends on the persons ability to grasp the concepts and transfer them into action. Usually about a year. To become proficient to the point of mastery, it takes a lifetime.

takes 20+ years to master any martial art. Anything less and your dealing with a mcdojo.

If you wanna learn multiple martial arts, I'd recommend taking up MMA, Mixed martial arts, you learn several martial arts at one time, and you combine them to make one great style.
