You should just need the larger triples, of course now would be a perfect time to get some 30mm offset ones..

You will need a new brake hose clamp. I still need that myself.

If your not ready to spend the money on a 30mm ofset clamp, I do have a stock triple clamp from a 1098s that will work for you. I am asking $250

if im not mistaken, I think you will need a 1098 front rim too. Since the rims are not interchangeable.

This is in addition to new triple clamps. Hopefully the diameter is the same, otherwise you will need to get new clip ons to match the size.

I was considering doing this, but I am just going to go with the Ohlins rear.

Try just buying an Ohlins cartridge kit with your fork replacement.

Go to gothamcycles.com they have a 1098 fork + headstock. I dont know the diameter of the showa forks are, but if it is not the same as the Ohlins you are looking at clip ons too. If you are going to spend the money buy a set of R ant T Ohlins and not the Oem ducati ones. There is a big difference! If you need Info on everything IE. wheels ask Martin at Motowheels.

Yes. Keep an eye out, and soon you will find some at a good price if you can wait.




You are mistaken. The rear wheel is not interchangeable. The front is. Brake rotors on the 848 are 320mm and 330 on the 1098-1198. EZ fix with a spacer, as I did with the D16 fork.
