What's the difference between a mustang GT, a mustang, and a shelby?

A ford mustang has a 4.0L V6 making about 210hp the mustang GT has a 4.6L V8 making 320hp if u are talking about a ford shelby gt500 it has a 5.4L V8 supercharged if ur talking about the shelby GT then it pretty much is a normal mustang GT with shelbys name on it so its more.

now for a real answer. A Regualr Mustang has a V-6 engine (older models, up till 1994, had 4-cyl engines like you'd find in an Escort). A Mustang GT has a V-8 engine and dual exhaust, very beefy and nice all around sports car. A shelby is a Mustang GT that's been improved in the suspension, body, and drivetrain, with things like racing shocks, Supercharger, and a more aerodynamic body kit.
