Dieting and exercising with no results?

I am a women of 18 years, and I want to lose weight.
I cut my calorie intake from well over 2000 to about 1400 a day. And I am exercising nearly everyday. Cardio and weights. I have been doing this for a full two weeks, but i haven't lost even a fraction of a pound. What could i be doing wrong? When can i hope to see results?
I FEEL better, but I want that to show on the outside, too.
any advice?
